Class # 2- (class 2 - clearing/protection/environment).

Class # 3-  (class 3 - healing and integration minerals - the beryllium and boron containing minerals - homeopathic and shamanic healers)

The classes will be limited to 4 - 5 people per class, so this will fill fast.  The first people to respond will get to be in the first class, after that we will make

up a schedule depending on the demand.  The class fee is $10.00 per person - paid to Collen at the beginning of the class. 

You will need to pre register with Earthlight, Inc.  - by email, calling or coming in, but email will be faster.    

You will not need to bring anything to the classes just your self and a smile.  Rocks will be provided for use during class.

Medicinal Stones: How to use Gems and Minerals Medicinally according to Traditional Chinese Medicine

 This series of classes is designed to give you enough background knowledge to pick out your own gems and minerals and use them medicinally.   Gems and Minerals can be used for wellness issues ranging from indigestion and circulatory problems to spiritual evolution.  You will gain a basic understanding of Taoist theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a new perspective on gems and minerals as healing elements in our world.    Classes are on a Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Earthlight, Inc. - Pre-registration required, Limited number of openings. 

Class 1:   Basic TCM principles; discussion of 5 element theory, 3 levels (earth, man, heaven), and evolution of stones explaining the basic principles behind why and how you would pick a medicinal stone

Class 2:   A brief material medica of  specific Gems and Minerals in Traditional Chinese Medicine and their use

Class 3:   Stone Settings:  How the metal or setting for a Gem effects the properties of the Gem

Class 4:   Methods of using the stones to heal: elixirs, how and where to place, how to use with children

 $12 a class for the first 3 classes and the 4th class would be $20 including all supplies, $12 if you bring your own.

Beading classes - taught by Kim Lewis (Earthlight owner) with 20 + years of beading experience.- 

 (Bring your own beads, supplies and  tools (or borrow store tools)  ) Beads and findings are available to purchase at Earthlight before class if desired.  When you register a supply list will be supplied for each class.

1st class - -Friday 10:00am - 11:30am - basic techniques/ bead stringing -  (we should finish 1- necklace/or bracelet in class along with 1-pair of earrings)    $10.00 each  class - without supplies.

2nd class - - Friday 10:00am - 11:30am- Donut necklace with cording and dangles (casual & fun)- (larger holed beads needed for some of this) we should finish 1-necklace in class.  $10.00 each  class - without supplies.

3rd class -  -Friday 10:00am - 11:30am- bead weaving with DNA spiral stitch (small beads needed for class and good eyesight or glasses)   $20.00 each  class - without supplies.  Homework involved- you will not finish this in class.  (advanced technique)

4th class -  -Friday 10:00am - 11:30am- freeform peyote stitch with pearls - bracelet with a button clasp. (small beads needed for class and good eyesight or glasses)  $20.00 each  class - without supplies.  Homework involved- you will not finish this in class.  (advanced technique)
